Report a pesticide problem
If you suspect a pesticide emergency, dial 911.
Pesticides can enter the body by breathing, oral exposure, or contact with the skin or eyes. Pesticides, when used correctly, can be a viable method to manage pests. But if pesticides are used incorrectly, it can cause undue harm to others and the environment.
If you suspect you have been exposed to pesticides and your situation is not a life threatening emergency, call your local Agricultural Commissioner’s Office immediately. If you live in Santa Clara County, the San Jose office’s phone number is (408) 918-4600, and our San Martin office’s phone number is (408) 201-0640.
We are open during regular business hours and if you would like to speak to the Biologist on-duty, the Biologist is on duty in the San Jose office from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm, and the San Martin office’s on-duty Biologist hours are from 8:00 am – noon.
